Elite Star Performance’s™ Advanced Basketball Skills Training is a six week training program for athletes ages 6-14 that want to improve their overall basketball game. These intense one-hour sessions provide the players with specific drills and expert coaching to help them improve the shooting, ball handling, and offensive and defensive skills needed to take their game to the next level!

Ages 6-8
Skill training focused on mastering the fundamentals needed to excel in the game of basketball. Athletes will work on basic dribbling, dribbling equally well with both hands, passing stationary, passing while moving, and basic shooting form.

Ages 9-11
Skill training focused on the form and footwork of ball handling, jump shooting, post moves, free throws, and rebounding. Athletes will increase quickness and strength as well as develop the ability to be a greater offensive threat on the court.

Ages 12-14
Skills training focused on mastering advanced basketball technique while increasing foot speed, balance, and body control. Athletes will work on shooting of the pass, dribbling-to-shoot, and using screens to get open. Athletes will have the opportunity to use their skills in a competitive and controlled environment at game speed.

Leadership and Character Development
Having character is as important to athletic success as physical ability or skill. All Elite Star Performance’s™ Training Programs encourage athletes to set goals, manage their time, eat healthy, and live by positive principles that will define their quest for athletic and personal success.
