The Elite Star Performance™ Basketball Training Academy is an exclusive training program for student-athletes in grades 1st - 8th that are interested in, and motivated by, the game of basketball. The Academy is offered year-round in six week increments and is intended to develop the proficiency of basketball fundamentals. The expert instruction and skill-building training format provides the perfect arena for participants to improve their shooting, ball handling, and offensive and defensive skills needed to take their basketball game to an Elite level!

PROGRAM DETAILS

Players are broken down into two skill levels:

JUNIOR VARSITY and VARSITY

JUNIOR VARSITY (JV)

Elite's JV Training is designed for players who have less than two years of formal basketball experience.

• Skills training focuses on mastering the fundamentals.
• Basic dribbling, dribbling equal-handed, stationary passing, passing while moving, and proper shooting form.

VARSITY

Elite's VARSITY Training is for players who have a clear understanding of basketball basics and are motivated to become better players.

• Skills training focuses on mastering advanced basketball techniques while increasing foot speed, balance, and body control.
• Shooting off the pass, dribbling-to-shoot, screening, post play, play making defensive techniques, and increasing basketball IQ. 
• Athletes will have the opportunity to use their skills in a competitive and controlled environment at game speed.

 ALL ATHLETES WILL INCREASE QUICKNESS AND STRENGTH TO BECOME  GREATER OFFENSIVE AND DEFENSIVE THREATS.
